Nicole Lovenduski Research Scientist II Department of Atmospheric Science Colorado State University The oceans play a critical role in the global carbon cycle, serving as a sink for anthropogenic CO2 emissions, and regulating the atmospheric CO2 concentration. My research is focused on understanding the dynamical processes controlling air-sea CO2 exchange. I investigate how these processes operated in the past, how they function today, and how they might respond to a future characterized by increased greenhouse gas forcing. |
