Objective
The objective of the course is to provide a working knowledge of climate variability on timescales ranging from weeks to decades. Topics include the structure and dynamics of large-scale patterns of internal atmospheric variability, coupled ocean-atmosphere interactions, stratosphere/troposphere coupling, and - time permitting - observations of recent climate change.
