Atmosphere and Ocean Dynamics

Research focuses on developing waves, atmospheric dispersion, and the dynamics of geophysical vortices such as the circumpolar vortex, tropical and extratropical cyclones, polar lows, and tornadoes. Tools used to analyze and predict the aforementioned phenomena include theoretical models and numerical simulation.
