Classroom Equipment

The department maintains computing, projection, and audiovisual equipment in three classrooms. Please remember to turn all equipment off before you leave. If you need help, please contact Matt Kassawara by phone at 970-491-8527 or by email at matt (at) atmos.colostate.edu.

Small Classroom (Main Building 100)
  • Computer

    • Proxima 2960 ceiling-mounted LCD projector
  • Audio/Video Equipment
    • NEC MultiSync ceiling-mounted 29-inch multimedia monitor
  • Instructions
    • Before using the projector and/or multimedia monitors, first make sure the computer is powered on.
    • Turn the projector on using the remote labeled "Projector". The lamp inside the projector will take about a minute to warm up. If no image of the computer's desktop appears on the screen, use the remote to select input #1. If you'd prefer to use a laptop, connect it to the supplied VGA cable and select input #2.
    • Turn the multimedia monitors on using the remote labeled "Monitors". One remote works for both units. If no image of the computer's desktop appears on the monitors, use the remote to select the "Video 1" input. Please note that the TV can only display a maximum resolution of 800x600.
    • When you are done using the classroom equipment, please remember to turn everything off.

    • VCR which displays on the ceiling-mounted LCD projector or multimedia monitors
    • Shure wireless lapel microphone

    • Before using the projector and/or multimedia monitors, first make sure the computer is powered on.
    • Turn the projector on using the remote labeled "Projector". The lamp inside the projector will take about a minute to warm up. If no image of the computer's desktop appears on the screen, use the remote to select input #1. If you'd prefer to use a laptop, connect it to the supplied VGA cable and select input #2.
    • Turn the multimedia monitors on using the remote labeled "Monitors". One remote works for both units. If no image of the computer's desktop appears on the monitors, use the remote to select the "RGB1" input.
