Department Information
The Department of Atmospheric Science resides in the Foothills Campus of Colorado State University. The campus is located in northwest Fort Collins near the foothills of the Front Range mountains. Colorado State University is a land-grant institution and enrolls approximately 25,000 students each year. The Department of Atmospheric Science is a Program of Research and Scholarly Excellence which is due to recognition for our renowned academic and cutting edge research programs.
