Outreach and Educational Presentation Requests

FORTCAST (FORT Collins Atmospheric ScientisTs) is a local chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS), run primarily by Atmospheric Science graduate students at Colorado State University. It serves the interests of the atmospheric science community of northern Colorado. The chapter is a professional, service, educational and social organization for individuals with a wide variety of atmospheric science backgrounds. The chapter seeks to promote and advance atmospheric science through public outreach and will conduct activities in the manner expressed by the AMS.

FORTCAST hopes to engage the greater northern Colorado region with fun and exciting methods to foster learning about the atmosphere and the processes contained within.

If you’re interested in having FORTCAST talk to your school or organization, please fill out our request form, and a FORTCAST representative will contact you. Please allow at least two weeks’ notice, so the group can adequately prepare.

To learn more about FORTCAST, visit their website.
